ACLC-New Mexico Prayer Meeting Focuses on Faith and Family

Pastor Twitty gave the keynote address on “Faith and Family.” He explained the lives of Abraham and Lot, citing Abraham’s living for the sake of others. He talked about Lot’s steadfastness to leave Sodom and Gomorrah and keeping his eyes on God’s will and not looking back. He also gave scriptural internal guidance for relations between husband and wife, and parents and children. Rabbi Frank and Marie Avilla were presented with a floral bouquet in honor of their 40th wedding anniversary. This was followed by a True Love Toast. Flowers were given to the ladies present....

ACLC Pastor Donald Ward Holds Pure Love Event for Youth to Promote Chastity Before Marriage !!

“God’s Handmaidens & Manservants” was the main message title for the Third Annual Pure Love Celebration. Incorporating “A Dedication to Christ and Purity,” praise dance, and a Pure Love Essay contest, the annual celebration was founded and organized by the Byrne family of Seattle, in memory of their daughter Jin Joo. This year it was held at the Daystar Baptist Church in Renton, Washington, and two other congregations, the Haitian “New Jerusalem Baptist Church” and the Spanish “Strong Rock Church”, which also worship at Daystar Baptist Church, participated as well....

The Prayer Breakfast for the Dayton, Ohio, ACLC was held at The College Hill Community Church on Saturday, March 6, 2010. Pastor Robert E. Jones hosted this exciting conference. Our keynote speaker was the ACLC National Chairman, Rev. Michael Jenkins who was born and raised in the Dayton area so it was especially significant. He brought with him four guests: his brother Matthew and his wife Susan, her father and her brother were first time guests at this prayer breakfast....

Student Essayists Honored at Seattle’s Pure-Love Celebration

“Creating True Love and Uplifting Self-esteem” were the guiding themes of theSecond Annual Pure Love Celebration for youth in Seattle on April 26, 2009.
The central project for the April 26th Pure-Love Program was the “Pure-Love Essay Contest.” Participants chose to write on one of four topics. There were four age groups (from middle-school to college-age) and two winners in each group. The essays submitted were remarkable, according to Mrs. Byrne, ACLC Northwest Chapter Coordinator. ...

The Seventh Annual ACLC True Family Values Banquet

They came and showed that it can be done. Despite the statistics in Detroit, with its 76% divorce rate and 70% out of wedlock birthrate, the ACLC is finding pastors and community leaders who have been successful in raising children to be abstinent before marriage and creating marriages in their communities that last. These pastors and community leaders are Ambassadors For Peace in the realm of the family and were awarded for their efforts and success at our Seventh Annual True Family Values Banquet held on Saturday, April 4th at the Fellowship Chapel Banquet Center in Detroit....

Touched by His Love: Teaching on family values and prayer

On Wednesday, February 4th, 2009, Rev. Yakawich was invited back to the St. Francis Junior High School. Mrs. Dow welcomed him to her 6th grade religion class to speak on prayer. Over the course of the day, he was able to present to all three of her classes on the reason people pray, the approaches to prayer and the various styles of prayer. In all sincerely, he was touched by the love of God both by the students and their teacher. Their questions and comments displayed the quality of their hearts and their emerging personal relationship with Heavenly Father....
