The Blessing of Marriage & Family
The Blessing is bringing your family back to God.
The Marriage Blessing is an inter-religious and interfaith ceremony that allows couples to dedicate and engraft their marriage to God and each other. In a world that seems to collapsing away from families, the Blessing seeks to renew God’s original hope for marriage:
“Haven’t you read,” he replied, “that at the beginning the Creator ‘made them male and female,’ and said, ‘For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh’? So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.” (Matthew 19:4-6)
It includes a series of transformative steps for creating a stronger, God-centered foundation for couples. However, the Blessing does not end with the couple, it becomes a culture in the household and the community. Blessed culture is where the values of love, purity, and peace are at the center.
As pastors, we are called to lead by example (1 Timothy 4:12). Therefore, our first “church” or “small group” is our spouse and family. We call all pastors to receive this Marriage Blessing.
The Blessing is a natural extension of individual salvation by Jesus Christ to the family realm of life.
We believe that Father & Mother Moon were called and anointed by God for the purpose of bringing this ministry to the world.

Testimonies from our Blessed Pastors
“The Blessing for us was a transformational understanding of God's covenant in marriage, a Blessing of reversing the curse of Adam and Eve and entering into a rebirth with a new mindset. Learning and applying those principles will strengthen any marriage with the allegiance of becoming one.”
Dr. Madelene & Ken Alexander
“The Blessing is God’s original design for the salvation and unity of humankind—beginning with the family. God never intended to save the world through institutions or religions, but through the love and oneness of husband and wife, forming families that reflect His heart.
When my wife and I received the Blessing, we truly became one. Something shifted, not only in us, but in our children and our home. Our family began to experience transformation, and even our children desired the same Blessing for their own marriages. Today, four generations in our ministry are working together to fulfill God’s ideal of families restored, united, and walking in His divine purpose.”
Dr. Mark & Edna Abernathy
“The Holy Blessing is a reunion of families and the putting together of new couples under God. I and my wife had our experience of the Blessing which changed our marital life-style by increasing our love for one another and also bringing our family closer to God. After our Blessing we became an official Blessing Officiator in our region, and now have Blessed couples in America and 520 couples in West Africa Ghana. It has been life changing to bring peace to Christian home's with the Joy of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ brought to the families. Glory be to God Almighty, Hallelujah!”

Bishop Jones, an ACLC national advisor, once said: “The evidence of one’s relationship with God is how you treat people… It is more intensified by how you treat the woman you made a commitment to, or the man, or the children in your house… You cannot cover behavior with your religiosity. You have a form of godliness. But the power of your godliness is how you treat the people around you.”
The Blessing & Family Ministry is more than the ceremony. Based on fundamental, Godly principles, it involves education, sermon outlines, programs for all ages, tools, trainings, and more.
It is a comprehensive ministry to rebuild the families in our community.

After our families, our responsibility as pastors is to tend to God’s children in our communities. Our fundamental concern is for their spirit but also for the substance of their relationships and family. ACLC is here to prioritize and affect change in this realm.
